Japan Top 10 Weekly Light Novel Ranking: January 31, 2022 ~ February 6, 2022

It is a rather slow week for Light Novel. The 6th volume of Magical★Explorer: Eroge no Yuujin Kyara ni Tensei shita kedo, Game Chishiki Tsukatte Jiyuu ni Ikiru takes the top spot at 9,178 copies sold in its first 6 days. The Light Novel was also featured in several charts prior to this with its first volume making a debut at 7,603 copies in 3 days back in November 2019. It was then charted again for Volume 2 at 6,617 copies sold between February 24 and March 1, 2020 in just 1 day! The volume remained on the chart the week after at 5,419 copies, putting its 8-day sales at 12,036 copies. Volume 3 which came out on August 1, 2020 saw 6,213 copies in its first 2 days, but it failed to rank for Volume 4. It later made an appearance for Volume 5 with 8,363 copies sold in 4 days back in July 2021. The series was also adapted into Manga which began serialization on August 10, 2020 of which its chapters are viewable right here in Japanese. So do check it out!

Following right after is Isekai Meikyuu de Harem wo Volume 12 which made a splash with its pre-sales the week before at 5,514 copies sold. For the week between January 31 to February 6, it has made another 7,376 copies, as such its total lifetime sales has now hit 12,890 copies. Mamahaha no Tsurego ga Motokano datta Volume 8 is 3rd at 7,109 copies. You may have heard of this series since it was announced last year that it is to receive an Anime adaptation slated to begin this year on an unannounced date. You can check out its teaser trailer down below. The Light Novel was last seen for its 7th volume back between July 26 and August 1, 2021 at 5,534 copies sold in 3 days, prior to that, it was charted for its 5th volume at 5,931 copies in 6 days. The 8th volume is a direct improvement over Volume 5 by 16.57%. It also has a Manga adaptation of the same name in which several of its chapters can be read here in Japanese for free. Several other new releases include Dokusatsusareru Akuyaku Reijou desu ga, Itsu no Manika Dekiai Route ni Haitte Ita you de at 3,171 copies, and it was adapted into Manga very recently too. Some of its chapters can be accessed for free right here in Japanese. Makaigaeri no Rettou Nouryokusha Volume 8 is next on the list with 3,058 copies sold in 6 days. It too has a Manga adaptation, however it was short lived, having lasted only two volumes. Skip over to Number 9 is a fairly new title, Inkya no Boku ni Batsu Game ni Kokuhaku shitekita Hazu no Gal ga, Dou Mitemo Boku ni Betabore desu with its 2nd volume at 2,747 copies sold in 6 days. Finally, Inkya datta Ore no Seishun Revenge Tenshi Sugiru Ano Musume to Ayumu Re:Life places 10th at 2,721 copies, also in its first 6 days. Without further ado, the full list is as follows:
