Lots of new titles making its way onto Oricon’s sales chart for Light Novels for the week between January 25 to January 31. The 10th volume of Kusuriya no Hitorigoto ranks in 1st, selling a good amount, 35,885 copies in its first week. The title last made its appearance back in February 2020 when Volume 9 then, sold 38,008 copies. Nevertheless, sales continued to stay strong albeit a drop the second week. Sales of its Volume 10 started off slow, 5.59% less than debut sales of Volume 9, but there is still a chance for it to retain its momentum the following week.

Sales of Jujutsu Kaisen‘s Light Novels continued to build its presence, with another increase week-on-week. Yuku Natsu to Kaeru Aki has climbed 7.96% while Yoake no Ibara Michi was a lot humbler, rising as little as 3.28%. The 4-week sales of the two have reached 46,187 copies and 49,426 copies respectively. Likewise, the two Kimetsu no Yaiba titles on the chart for the week have also recorded a small climb , ending the month on a positive note. Unfortunately, the rest of Kimetsu no Yaiba‘s Light Novel titles could not make the chart for the week.
Sales of Jujutsu Kaisen Light Novels have been on a steady climb since January 4 to January 31. Total sales for the two titles have reached 95,613 copies.
While Kimetsu no Yaiba titles are experiencing a decline as of late, the title’s releases still retain a strong presence it the charts. Total sold for Kaze no Michishirube and Shiawase no Hana alone have reached 58,397 copies for the month of January.
