The latest volume of Sword Art Online was met with much zest the first week of its release as it sold 60,589 copies, 47% higher than the debut sales of Volume 24. The previous volume however, did see sales climb the second week by a sheer amount — Volume 24 first week sales are 31,847 copies, second week 50,147 copies. Seeing that a rise in the second week does occur every once in a while for Light Novel releases, there is chance that this can happen for Sword Art Online‘s 25th volume.

Apart from that, following closely behind Sword Art Online is the new Seishun Buta Yarou release with welcoming sales, the title debuted with 31,992 copies sold. Most of Kimetsu no Yaiba Light Novels faced a decline with the exception of Mugen Ressha-hen Novelize Mirai Bunko Edition which is up by 16.92%. The chart also features two Jujutsu Kaisen titles with Yuku Natsu to Kaeru Aki at number 7 and Yoake no Ibara Michi at number 9. Sales of Suzumiya Haruhi no Choukan continued to plunge, settling at 9,606 copies sold for the week, down 52.46%.
