With the sequel Anime announced to be released in the coming Summer 2020, the 31st volume of Mahouka Koukou no Rettousei is greeted warmly with its debut, selling nearly 40,000 copies nationwide Japan according to Oricon’s latest Light Novel chart available here. It is thanks to Oricon that we get to see these rankings on a weekly basis, so please be sure to pay them a visit here and show them some love!
Sales of the two novels of Kimetsu no Yaiba showed some respite for the period between April 6 – April 12 as they saw a relatively minute increase in sales, but enough to keep them floating in the top 3. Shiawase no Hana and Katabane no Chou traded places to settle for spot 3 and 2 respectively.
The week was also welcomed by a number of new titles making into the list other than Mahouka Koukou no Rettousei, including Isekai Nonbiri Nouka (No.4), Sword Art Online Alternative: Gun Gale Online (No. 5), Isekai Izakaya “Nobu” (No. 8) and Netoge no Yome wa Onnanoko ja Nai to Omotta? (No. 10).
ONE PIECE novel LAW, Tensei Shitara Slime Datta Ken and OVERLORD experienced sales declined, but managed to retain their presence in the chart. Without further ado, the full list is as follows:
