Is it just me or Light Novel titles are becoming longer by the day?
Kono Subarashii Sekai ni Shukufuku wo! latest volume tops the week’s chart for the period between April 27 to May 3 according to Oricon’s latest Light Novel sales ranking available here. Although Overlord debuted nearly 3 times as many, the fellow KADOKAWA title is just as encouraging.

Kimetsu no Yaiba novels are starting to show some signs of recovery, but it is unclear whether if this is a result of the upcoming release of the 20th volume of the Manga. However, due to the strong sales posted by KonoSuba, both Katabane no Chou and Shiawase no Hana dropped a spot to number 2 and 3 respectively. Things did not bode well for Mahouka Koukou no Rettousei as it fell four spots to number 7. Sales have declined by about 34% for the title.
The week also saw seven new titles added to the list along with a KonoSuba’s side story, Kono Subarashii Sekai ni Shukufuku wo! Extra Ano Orokamono ni mo Kyakkou wo! at number 4. You can find Around 40 Kenja no Isekai Seikatsu Nikki at 5, Deokure Tamer no Sono Higurashi at 6, Saikyou Degarashi Ouji no An’yaku Teii Arasoi Munou wo Enjiru SS Rank Ouji wa Koui Keishou-sen wo Kage kara Shihai Suru at 8 while Kawaikereba Hentai demo Suki ni Natte Kuremasu ka? and Maryoku na Majo ni Narimashita: Souzou Mahou de Kimama na Isekai Seikatsu settles for 9 and 10 respectively.
