Kimetsu no Yaiba Katabane no Chou showed a little recovery according to Oricon’s latest Light Novel sales chart available here while its fellow sibling, Kimetsu no Yaiba Shiawase no Hana experienced a very small drop in sales for the period between April 20 to April 26. The biggest fall would be Mahouka Koukou no Rettousei, which was at the top of the chart the previous week. Sales have plummeted nearly 64% for the series as it saw the estimated number of volumes sold plunged from 24,000 copies the week before to 9,017 copies for the week.
At number 4 is Otome Game no Hametsu Flag shika Nai Akuyaku Reijou ni Tensei shiteshimatta… (Hamefura) which its Anime is currently airing. The Standard Edition sold 7,218 copies while the Limited Edition sold 6,673 copies. Combined, the series has sold 13,891 copies for the week. In terms of cumulative sales, it should put the title above Mahouka Koukou no Rettousei. SNAFU’s anthologies are still present in the chart, but the 3rd volume drop a spot to number 8. The 4th volume however, retains its 7th position.
The chart is also greeted by a number of new titles apart from Hamefura. They are Hazurewaku no “Joutai Ijou Skill” de Saikyou ni Natta Ore ga Subete wo Juurin suru made (No. 5), Genjitsu Shugi Yuusha no Oukoku Saikenki (No. 9) and Around 40 Kenja no Isekai Seikatsu Nikki (No. 10).
