Well, I am quite surprise with this week’s ranking considering we see some familiar shows in the list. First up is DanMachi Movie. I haven’t watched the movie yet, but reviews haven’t been so kind to the series as of late. Regardless, Japan’s consumer behavior is unlike many, and the movie is doing really well the fact that both limited and standard edition making into the Top 10 list. What I am most surprised is actually, Violet Evergarden Vol. 3. I am not sure, and am at the moment just speculating, but this could be as a result of the tragedy that befell the studio. Is highly likely. But, it’s best not to jump onto any conclusion. Nevertheless, if it is true that, that is the case then, whatever the culprit tried to do or the damage he has inflicted seems to have backfired.

Well it is quite unfortunate that I could not obtain the sales figure for the rest in the list… I was only able to obtain up till number 5. Apparently, I would have to subscribe to Oricon in order to obtain the full sales result. I will get to the bottom of this and see if I could register tomorrow or by this weekend. I hope the price is reasonable.
