Please note that Oricon’s daily surveys do not cover all stores in Japan, and some data may be missing from the list provided below. To view the list of stores that participate in Oricon’s surveys, please refer to the link provided (or the post here). If you would like to learn more about Oricon and their tracking methods, you may find additional information here. While I have manually counted the number of stores included in the list below, please be aware that there may be some errors, and not all stores are listed on official websites as many are exclusive sets listed to certain retailers. Therefore, it’s important to keep in mind that the number of stores counted may not fully reflect all retailers that sell the product.
Please note that the cutoff point on the Blu-ray general chart for the week was 2,489 copies and on the DVD chart, that would be 567 copies. Therefore, any releases denoted with “N/A” have sold less than the amount stated.

Kimetsu no Yaiba: Katanakaji no Sato-hen continues to be under pressure with the release of its 4th volume noting a further drop in copies sold against all of its past volumes other than Season 1’s 2nd volume (based on whatever data I have at my disposal). Against Season 2’s sales, the number of copies sold are particularly far less, for instance Volume 4’s 11,485 copies sold (including its DVD) at 47.85% and 44.77% lower than Yuukaku-hen‘s Volume 1 and Volume 6 at 22,021 copies and 20,793 copies sold respectively, all in their first five days.
In total, Katanakaji no Sato-hen has reached a total of 50,048 copies sold in debut sales, down by 30.78% from the 72,308 copies had by Yuukaku-hen (as of its 4th volume as well).
Additional Comments
A follow-up season to Katanakaji no Sato-hen has been announced, titled “Hashira Geiko-hen” or the “Hashira Training Arc.” The actual broadcast date of the season is still unknown as of the time of writing.

Kidou Senshi Gundam: Suisei no Majo Season 2‘s Volume 1 has noted a small drop of 5.96% and 4.93% against Season 1’s Volume 2 and Volume 4 debut performances of which the two sold 6,894 copies and 6,819 copies respectively, all in their first five days. Season 1’s Volume 3 is perhaps the series’ best performer thus far with 6,182 copies sold in three days, though the overall outcome would have certainly stabilize the next seven days across all volumes.
In total, the debut performance of Senshi Gundam: Suisei no Majo has had 31,200 copies sold, reaching a revenue of 248,182,000 yen (≈1.67 million USD).

“Oshi no Ko” Volume 4‘s 6,227 copies sold (including its DVD) has noted a 25.79%, 8.29% and 2.29% drop against Volume 1 to Volume 3 respectively, all in their first five days. The series has so far sold 27,781 copies in debut sales in Japan and has most certainly passed 30,000 copies sold (perhaps about 35,000 copies) in lifetime sales in its domestic market. Its revenue right now for all the debut sales made would stand at 207,870,000 yen (≈1.40 million USD) as of the time of writing.
