Well, it has been an extremely slow week for Anime Blu-rays due to a lack of new releases other than the Blu-ray collections of Shounan Bakusouzoku, the re-release editions of the 2014 collection. The Anime was aired as an OVA back between September 1986 and 1999, produced by Toei Animation whereas the latest Blu-ray releases are distributed by Toei Video. More about the Anime can be found on its special web page right here. Unfortunately, all volumes sold less than 400 copies each, and as such failed to find spots on the Top 20 general category.

Despite the lacklustre performance of both Anime Blu-rays and DVDs for the week, the following week’s chart will assure a massive improvement as popular titles such as Jujutsu Kaisen 0 Movie, Spy x Family and Lycoris Recoil (which have already made their debuts) are certainly to appear on the chart. Jujutsu Kaisen 0 Movie in particular is expected to sell a significant amount in its first 5 days.
