Plus, all the data you find below is accessible via Oricon right here (Blu-ray) and here (DVD). To access the sales data, be sure to click on the “Analytics” accordion and then click “Chart”. This should bring you to the Google chart page that contains the latest available sales data.
Please note that Oricon’s daily surveys do not cover all stores in Japan, and some data may be missing from the list provided below. To view the list of stores that participate in Oricon’s surveys, please refer to the link provided. If you would like to learn more about Oricon and their tracking methods, you may find additional information here. While I have manually counted the number of stores included in the list below, please be aware that there may be some errors, and not all stores are listed on official websites as many are exclusive sets listed to certain retailers. Therefore, it’s important to keep in mind that the number of stores counted may not fully reflect all retailers that sell the product.
The cutoff point for the Blu-ray general Top 20 chart this week was 549 copies sold, while for DVD, it was 426 copies. Releases marked as “N/A” have sold less than the stated amount. Weak sales in both charts are usually observed during the first and second weeks of the month. Therefore, it is expected that the momentum will remain relatively the same the following week. However, the overall performance of Anime’s disc sales is expected to improve from May 15th onwards until the end of the month.
