Please note that Oricon’s daily surveys do not cover all stores in Japan, and some data may be missing from the list provided below. To view the list of stores that participate in Oricon’s surveys, please refer to the link provided (or the post here). If you would like to learn more about Oricon and their tracking methods, you may find additional information here. While I have manually counted the number of stores included in the list below, please be aware that there may be some errors, and not all stores are listed on official websites as many are exclusive sets listed to certain retailers. Therefore, it’s important to keep in mind that the number of stores counted may not fully reflect all retailers that sell the product.
The cutoff point on the Blu-ray general chart for the week was 1,517 copies sold whereas on the DVD chart, that would be 479 copies. Therefore, any releases denoted with “N/A” down below have sold less than the amount stated.

Analysis
The final volume that completes Kidou Senshi Gundam: Suisei no Majo‘s first season has sold 1.09% less than Volume 2, both in their first five days. In total, the series’ Blu-rays alone have managed to hit 24,717 copies in debut sales reaching a revenue of 197,614,600 yen (≈1.37 million USD). With its DVDs included, it not surprising that lifetime sales for the series has gone beyond the 30,000 mark.
Not to forget, if we consider its DVD release on its own chart, total sales for Kidou Senshi Gundam: Suisei no Majo Volume 4 stood at 7,323 copies as of its fifth day.
