Plus, all the data you find below is accessible via Oricon right here (Blu-ray) and here (DVD). To access the sales data, be sure to click on the “Analytics” accordion and then click “Chart”. This should bring you to the Google chart page that contains the latest available sales data.
Please note that Oricon’s daily surveys do not cover all stores in Japan, and some data may be missing from the list provided below. To view the list of stores that participate in Oricon’s surveys, please refer to the link provided (or the post here). If you would like to learn more about Oricon and their tracking methods, you may find additional information here. While I have manually counted the number of stores included in the list below, please be aware that there may be some errors, and not all stores are listed on official websites as many are exclusive sets listed to certain retailers. Therefore, it’s important to keep in mind that the number of stores counted may not fully reflect all retailers that sell the product.
Overall disc performance was on the low side for the week, a typical reaction often seen during the first week of a month. Anyway, the cutoff point on the general chart for the week was 997 copies for Blu-ray and 535 copies for DVD. Therefore, any releases denoted with “N/A” down below have sold less than the amount stated. Expect the following week (from July 10 to July 16) to be just as low with sales expected to pick up from July 19 onwards.
