Please note that Oricon’s daily surveys do not cover all stores in Japan, and some data may be missing from the list provided below. To view the list of stores that participate in Oricon’s surveys, please refer to the link provided (or the post here). If you would like to learn more about Oricon and their tracking methods, you may find additional information here. While I have manually counted the number of stores included in the list below, please be aware that there may be some errors, and not all stores are listed on official websites as many are exclusive sets listed to certain retailers. Therefore, it’s important to keep in mind that the number of stores counted may not fully reflect all retailers that sell the product.
Note that the cutoff point for the week on the Blu-ray general chart was 2,715 copies whereas on the DVD chart that would be 208 copies. Therefore, any releases denoted with “N/A” have sold less than the amount stated.

Analysis
Kimetsu no Yaiba: Katanakaji no Sato-hen continues to see a lower turnout when compared to the overall performance of Yuukaku-hen. The release of Katanakaji no Sato-hen Volume 2 saw the total sales of both Blu-ray and DVD at 0.64% more than Volume 1 in terms of copies sold, however, the pricier discs of Volume 1 would put the latest volume right below it at 83,244,000 yen (≈583.07 thousand USD) while Volume 1 was at 89,099,000 yen (≈624.11 thousand USD). In addition, with Volume 1 having only a single episode on its discs, the performance for the volume was certainly stronger than the two-episode release of Volume 2.
Additional Comments
A follow-up season to Katanakaji no Sato-hen has been announced, titled “Hashira Geiko-hen” or the “Hashira Training Arc.” The actual broadcast date of the season is still unknown as of the time of writing.
