Plus, all the data you find below is accessible via Oricon right here (Blu-ray) and here (DVD). To access the sales data, be sure to click on the “Analytics” accordion and then click “Chart”. This should bring you to the Google chart page that contains the latest available sales data.
Please note that Oricon’s daily surveys do not cover all stores in Japan, and some data may be missing from the list provided below. To view the list of stores that participate in Oricon’s surveys, please refer to the link provided (or the post here). If you would like to learn more about Oricon and their tracking methods, you may find additional information here. While I have manually counted the number of stores included in the list below, please be aware that there may be some errors, and not all stores are listed on official websites as many are exclusive sets listed to certain retailers. Therefore, it’s important to keep in mind that the number of stores counted may not fully reflect all retailers that sell the product.
Please note that the cutoff point on the Blu-ray general chart for the week was 1,356 copies sold whereas on the DVD chart, that would be 508 copies. Therefore, any releases denoted with “N/A” below have sold less than the amount stated.
The overall performance of Anime releases has improved slightly over last week, however, it still underperformed amid a strong challenge from non-Anime related releases, plus a lack of notable and new releases for the week. The following week, between July 24 and July 30, will see a stronger rebound as a number of popular new releases will be making their appearance, such as: Yamada-kun to Lv999 no Koi wo Suru Volume 2, Kimetsu no Yaiba: Katanakaji no Sato-hen Volume 2, Mashle Volume 1 and many more.

In terms of copies sold, the Blu-ray of Otonari no Tenshi-sama ni Itsunomanika Dame Ningen ni Sareteita Ken Volume 3 has noted a small increase of 0.68%, but in terms of revenue, Volume 1 was more impactful since the Limited Edition released, sold at a much higher price, was the biggest seller for the series’ disc debut. When compared to Volume 2, Volume 3’s total copies sold has dropped by 2.31%.
