Plus, all the data you find below is accessible via Oricon right here (Blu-ray) and here (DVD). To access the sales data, be sure to click on the “Analytics” accordion and then click “Chart”. This should bring you to the Google chart page that contains the latest available sales data.
Note that Oricon does not track all stores in Japan and some data is missing from the list you see below. To check which stores that participate in Oricon’s daily surveys, please refer to the list right here. If you wish to further strengthen your understanding about Oricon, you may consider reading the articles posted here.
The Blu-ray Top 20 general chart’s cutoff point for the week was at a low 486 copies whereas for DVD, that would be 326 copies. Therefore, all of the releases denoted with “N/A” have sold less than the amount stated. Anime disc sales as a whole were weak throughout the week, and as pointed out the week before, this is due to the lack of new and notable releases. The situation should persist going into the week between February 13 and February 19, but will recover the week after thanks to the releases of popular titles’ latest volumes.
