Plus, all the data you find below is accessible via Oricon right here (Blu-ray) and here (DVD). To access the sales data, be sure to click on the “Analytics” accordion and then click “Chart”. This should bring you to the Google chart page that contains the latest available sales data.
Note that Oricon does not track all stores in Japan and some data is missing from the list you see below. To check which stores that participate in Oricon’s daily surveys, please refer to the list right here. If you wish to further strengthen your understanding about Oricon, you may consider reading the articles posted here.
The cutoff point on the Blu-ray Top 20 general category chart for the week was at a low 706 copies whereas for DVDs it was at 368 copies sold. Therefore, any releases denoted with “N/A” did not meet the threshold to place themselves on the two aforementioned charts, selling lower than the numbers stated. As mentioned in the post the week before, the low turnout here is due to a lack of new and notable releases. However, the situation concerning the Anime discs market would significantly improve next week where many popular titles will be making their newer volumes releases such as Bocchi the Rock! Volume 3 and Lycoris Recoil Volume 6 (its last volume).
