The Chinese animation fantasy film White Snake makes for an impressive debut in Japan in its first 9 days (for some reason it was not placed on the chart the week before) with copies sold for its Deluxe Edition at 9,160 while the Regular Edition is a spot below at 1,191. Together, both of its Blu-ray editions had a healthy 10,351 copies sold. Head over to the DVD chart, the two respective editions are on top as well with both at a total of 5,455 copies sold, making its performance at 15,806 copies sold strong for the week. The film was initially released in January of 2019, directed by Amp Wong and Zhao Ji. It was then distributed in North America by GKIDS Films. You can also find the Regular Edition US Blu-ray release for the title, distributed by GKIDS.
