There are zero new releases on the Top 10 Blu-ray chart for the week between May 2 and May 8, a typical occurrence that happens almost all the time at the beginning of a month. The reason for it is due to the fact that there are no new releases for the week at all with the exception of One Piece 20th Season Wano Country piece. 29 which made onto the DVD chart at Number 5 at 390 copies sold in its first 5 days.

The chart is heavily dominated by titles that made their debuts in the past two weeks with The Boss Baby: Family Business rising eight spots to claim the 1st place at 929 copies sold, putting its 12-day sales at 3,222 copies. Ryuu to Sobakasu no Hime missed out on the chart the week before amid strong presence of new releases, but it is back this time at Number 2 with 835 copies sold for its Blu-ray Standard Edition copies while its DVD version is placed 1st on its own chart at 1,012 copies sold. Kimetsu no Yaiba: Yuukaku-hen Volume 3 [Limited Release] Blu-ray copies see their sales for the week nosedived by 94.55% as it settles for the 3rd spot, and its DVDs slumped to 434 copies, sharing a spot with Tonari no Totoro. As such, Kimetsu no Yaiba: Yuukaku-hen Vol. 3’s 12-day sales have now hit 17,468 copies sold. Then, Sono Bisque Doll wa Koi wo Suru Volume 2 [Limited Release] is 4th with a sharp fall of 94.19% from the week before to 482 copies sold, bringing its total 12-day sales to 8,784 copies.
