There really is… nothing much to talk about for the week, does it? The chart exhibits the usual cyclical trend where the first week of the month tends to be slow amid the lack of new notable releases. Nevertheless, there are a couple of new releases on the chart with one in particular seeing rather decent sales. Crayon Shin-chan Movie: Mystery Meki! Hana no Tenkasu Gakuen which comes in 2nd on the Blu-ray chart at 1,103 copies sold may seem quite low, however its DVDs are sold slightly more than four times that amount at 4,449 copies, putting its total sales at 5,552 copies. It should be able to generate an estimated revenue worth 22,200,600 yen (≈192.13 thousand USD).

Note that the cutoff number on the Top 20 Blu-ray chart is 949, as such Numbers 3 to 10 you see on the Anime list are all below that amount. Number 6 is the 1st part of the Dragon Ball Super TV Series Complete Blu-ray Box set whereas right after is a classic remaster of the Anime, TO-Y. Taishou Otome Otogibanashi‘s final Blu-ray set is 10th on the list.
Some of the other titles that did not make it onto the chart include Edens Zero Volume 7, Scarlet Nexus Volume 2 and Digimon Adventure Volume 5. The following week may be a little slow as well, but we can expect better outcomes for Anime Blu-rays as Kimetsu no Yaiba Movie: Mugen Ressha-hen (TV) Volume 2 [Limited Release] will be on the chart.
