Well the first few weeks of January is not really off to a good start with only one sole new release on the chart between January 3 to January 9 at Number 8 which places the 4th volume of Kanojo mo Kanojo. Unfortunately, the volume failed to chart on Oricon’s Top 20 Blu-ray for the week and sales are below 600 copies seeing Love Live! Superstar!! Volume 4 is the cutoff point for the Top 20 chart. The slow week is understandable as there are no other notable releases other than Kanojo mo Kanojo. January 10 to January 16 however, will see the release of Ousama Ranking’s 1st volume and a few more such as Sakugan and Edens Zero. That should help revitalize the list.

As for others, only three releases are on the Top 20 Blu-ray and DVD charts. Umayon’s Blu-ray Box is charted 1st with copies sold at 1,665, putting it ahead in terms of estimated revenue for the week at 14,818,500 yen (≈129.28 thousand USD). Girls & Panzer: Saishuushou Part 3 and Love Live! Superstar!! Volume 4 is at 1,009 and 673 copies each as they place 2nd and 3rd. This would put their 17-day sales at 44,406 copies and 19-day sales at 15,465 copies respectively.
The DVD’s chart sees Sen to Chihiro no Kamikakushi leading the chart at 641 copies sold whereas One Piece’s Wano Kuni part 25, the only new release on the chart, is 2nd at 548 copies sold. Tonari no Totoro is 3rd with 503 copies. Without further ado, the full list is as follows:
