Anime Blu-rays and DVDs see a weak turnout between February 28 and March 6 due to a lack of new and notable releases. Encanto is still on the chart with its Regular Edition up by four spots as it grabs a hold of the Number 1 position, however copies sold have retreated by 18.20% from the week before. Love Live! Superstar!! Volume 6 [Limited Release] retains its Number 2 spot, but suffers from a heavy drop of 87.68%, putting its 10-day sales at 13,118 copies.
There are several new releases that can be found on the list, and do note that the cutoff point on Oricon’s Top 20 Blu-ray chart is 936 copies. As such, all of the releases from Number 3 onward have sold less than the amount mentioned. The first new release for the week belongs to Kikou Senki Dragonar, a classic series which has been given the HD remaster treatment. You can check out the comparison between the SD version and HD version via its promotional video down below. Next is the second and final part of Dragon Ball Super TV Series Complete Blu-ray. It was last seen for Part 1 back between January 31 and February 6, and like the 2nd part, it too failed to chart on Oricon’s Top 20 at the time. Hanyou no Yashahime Blu-ray Disc BOX is next at Number 8 with its 3rd volume.

Some of the releases that did not make it onto the chart are Edens Zero Volume 8, Scarlet Nexus Volume 3, D_Cide Traumerei the Animation Volume 4 and Honeyworks 10th Anniversary “LIP x LIP FILM x LIVE”. The weak turnout will persist the following week as well, but should note better performance with the entrance of major titles including Mahouka Koukou no Rettousei: Tsuioku-hen, Ousama Ranking Disc Box Volume 2 and Mushoku Tensei: Isekai Ittara Honki Dasu Volume 4 making their ways the week after.
