Kimetsu no Yaiba: Yuukaku-hen’s 1st volume places first on both Blu-ray and DVD charts for the week at a total of 22,021 copies sold in its first 5 days. Note that the 14,315 copies sold is 48.66% higher than sales of Season 1’s first volume back between July 29 and August 4, 2019 (also in 5 days). The title was also recently announced to be receiving a follow up, unfortunately, the actual date of the broadcast has not been announced. Volume 2 is expected to hit local stores on the 30th of March this year.
At Number 2 is Love Live! Superstar!! Volume 6 (which is also its final) at 11,679 copies sold. The fewer copies sold noted for the volume is due to a shorter number of days of sales. Copies sold however, are still 4.45% less than Volume 3 which 3-day sales netted it 12,223 copies back in November 2021. Its total lifetime sales now should be more than 85,000 copies sold for its all volumes combined.

Kyuuketsuki Sugu Shinu Volume 2 is 3rd on both lists with its Blu-ray at a healthy 3,489 copies sold while its DVD settles in at 1,114 copies sold. As such, a total of 4,603 copies in 5 days, up by 1.80% from Volume 1 back in January. Its final volume is set to be released on the 23rd of March. The title is also slated for a sequel on an unannounced date.
Tropical-Rouge! Precure Movie: Yuki no Princess to Kiseki no Yubiwa! sees a total of 4,410 copies sold in its first 5 days. The film was initially released in Japan back in October 2021 and was reportedly to have earned a total of 562,977,650 yen (≈4.95 million USD) at the end of November (Source: ANN). Skip over to Number 6 and you will find Visual Prison’s 3rd volume with its Blu-ray at 1,744 copies sold. Its DVD on the other hand places 4th on its chart at 984 copies, putting its total 5-day sales at 2,728, down by 26.88% from its 2nd volume. Note that this is its 2nd consecutive drop in sales, Volume 1 had 4,546 copies sold in December 2021.
Eighty-Six Volume 6 is 7th at 1,648 copies sold in its first 5 days, a small drop from the 1,703 copies sold made by its 5th volume. Its DVDs unfortunately could not place itself on the Top 20 DVD sales charts, however when put together, the volume approaches closer to the 2,000 copies sold mark. Yume no Crayon Oukoku is quite the classic series, having been broadcast between September of 1997 and January of 1999 by Toei Animation. It sees 1,642 copies sold in its first 3 days.
Number 9 would be Hakuoki’s maiden appearance on the Top 10 list after failing to do so for Chapter 1 and Chapter 2. The 3rd chapter, Hoshi Mukae, Kumokan no Shirabe is at 1,473 copies sold in its first 3 days. Tsukipro The Animation 2’s 4th volume is 10th on the list at 1,396 copies. It failed to chart previously for its 3rd volume.
The strong disc sales produced by Kimetsu no Yaiba: Yuukaku-hen’s 1st volume ensures it the first spot in terms of estimated revenue made for the week at a total of 135,430,500 yen (≈1.17 million USD). Love Live! Superstar!! Volume 6 places 2nd at 81,753,000 yen (≈707.25 thousand USD) while Kyuuketsuki Sugu Shinu Volume 2 is 3rd at 58,725,000 yen (≈508.04 thousand USD).
