Boku no Hero Academia’s latest theatrical release, World Heroes’ Mission sees a great turnout of 44,841 copies sold in its first 5 days for both its Blu-rays and DVDs, up by 60.80% from its previous film, Heroes:Rising’s disc debut sales which between July 13 and July 19, 2020 sold 27,265 copies. The high turnout would also put its total estimated revenue at a very good 317,951,800 yen (≈2.76 million USD). According to the Motion Picture Producers Association of Japan, the film also made 3,390 million yen (≈29.45 million USD) in box office revenue in its local market in 2021.
