After an eight and a half year of serialization, sports Manga “Haiyku!!” finally concluded with the release of its chapter 402 on July 19, 2020. If you have not read it yet, the chapter can be found available for free via Viz Media here. The story centers around Shouyou Hinata, who despite being small, decided to take up the sport after being inspired by an amazing player he witnessed at the national volleyball finals, nicknamed “the Little Giant”.
The latest available, volume 43 was released back in May.
Shueisha has confirmed that the final two volumes of the title will be released in August and November respectively. The latest, volume 43 was released back on the 13th of May. The 44th volume is expected to hit the shelves August the 4th while the final volume is slated for a November 4 release. A special large-sized art book will also be released in the month of December, the first of its kind.
Currently, the official English volumes are only up to volume 39, the upcoming volume 40 is available for pre-order here via Amazon. The volume releases are around 2-month apart from each other, and since volume 40 is releasing this September, the final volume can be expected next year, most likely around July. “Haiyku!!” is a Manga by Haruichi Furudate who began his Manga career when he was 25 years of age. The serialization of Haikyu!! began in 2012 through the Weekly Shounen Jump magazine and has spurned out a series of Anime adaptations which first aired in Spring 2014.
