Quite a number of new releases have made their way onto COMIC ZIN’s chart for the week between May 9 and May 15. Kore Egaite Shine (note, pronounced as Shi·ne) Volume 1 is 1st on the list at 4 days of sales, a series by Minoru Toyada who previously worked on titles such as: Love Roma and Takeo-chan Bukkairoku. The Manga is serialized in Shogakukan’s Monthly Shounen Sunday where its first chapter can be read for free in Japanese right here (click here for easy access). Kore Egaite Shine centres around a high school first year student, Ai Yasumi who one day realises that her love for Manga has driven her to wanting to learn on how to make one. To do that, she asked for help from the unlikeliest person, her high school teacher.

Shinkurou, Hashiru! which has made multiple appearances before on the COMIC ZIN’s charts is placed 2nd on the week’s list with its 10th volume. The title was also charted 27th on the Oricon Top 30 weekly sales chart at 18,801 copies sold in its first 4 days. The Manga by author Masami Yuuki (Kidou Keisatsu Patlabor and Tetsuwan Birdy) first began serialization in January 2018 through Bic Comic Spirits Magazine of which its first chapter can be accessed here for free in Japanese (click here for easy access). Hero Girl x Healer Boy: Touch or Death Volume 6 is next at Number 3 at 4 days of sales is a series by Masakazu Ooi who is a veteran, having worked on many titles before this such as Himawari Youchien Monogatari: Aiko desho! and Ichinensei ni Nacchattara. The author’s latest work, Hero Girl x Healer Boy: Touch or Death started its serialization journey through Sunday Webry and tells a story of a hero who can only heal women. Kimi wa Meido-sama. which comes in 4th on the list with its 5th volume is at 4 days of sales as well. The title has made consistent appearances on COMIC ZIN’s charts for its prior two volumes but has not been successful so far in breaching Oricon’s Top 30. You can check out a number of its chapters that have been made freely available through Shogakukan’s Sunday Web Every right here in Japanese. The Manga adaptation of Sengoku Komachi Kuroutan is 6th with its 11th volume, also in its first 4 days. While the Light Novel volumes have made several appearances on their respective charts, it has so far not done the same for its Manga. Head over to Number 8 and Maid no Emily wa Kyou mo Warawanai makes a splash with its only volume in the market (note that its serialization has already ended) at 6 days of sales. The title which was worked on by Takako Oogami first began serialization in 2021 with its 1st chapter available for reading in Japanese right here (click here for easy access). So do check it out! Finally, the debut volume of Isekai Furin II – Michibikareshi Hitozuma-tachi to Bukiyou Tensei Yuusha is 9th at 4 days of sales. Interestingly, this is also a work by Masakazu Ooi (Hero Girl x Healer Boy: Touch or Death which is 3rd on this list), but he is helped by artist Inomaru for the project.
