COMIC ZIN’s list for the week between May 30 and June 5 welcomes a slew of new releases that occupies eight out of the ten spots with Eisei Otome no Tatakaikata Volume 7 taking home the crown at 7 days of sales. Note that this would not be the first time the series has made it onto the COMIC ZIN’s charts as it has done so for its past three volumes. However, the title has yet to breach the Oricon’s Top 30 charts since the Blog began tracking. Eisei Otome no Tatakaikata is a series by Kuzushiro which commenced its serialization in April 2019 through Shogakukan’s Big Comic Superior. More information about the title can be found on its official webpage while its first chapter can be consumed for free right here in Japanese. Next will be Paranoma Volume 5, its second appearance on the chart after Volume 4 made its debut back in April last year. The josei title can be found via Rakuen Le Paradis magazine which it has been serializing in since February 2015. Paranoma’s Chapter 1’s first two pages
Coming in 3rd on the list is Ume to Momo no Futsuu no Kurashi Volume 4 in its first 7 days, its fourth consecutive appearance as it has successfully breached the COMIC ZIN’s charts since its first volume. The series unfortunately has not been able to do the same on Oricon’s Top 30 charts. It first began its serialization journey in March 2020 through the Manga Life STORIA Dash with more information about the title can be obtained via its official webpage right here. Takeshobo has also given access to some of its chapters for free in Japanese right here. So do check them out! Chouonsoku no Majo makes its very first volume debut at Number 4 at 6 days of sales. Oujougiwa no Imi wo Shire! Volume 5 is 5th in its first 7 days and was last seen back in June 2021 with its 4th volume on the COMIC ZIN’s chart. It has so far not made onto the Top 30 Oricon sales charts since its serialization. The work by Kyo Yoneshiro (Ageku no Hate no Kanon and Otoko no Ko to Onna no Ko) can be found in the Big Comic Spirits magazine where it has been serializing since February 2020. Shogakukan has also made its first three chapters available for reading in Japanese right here on its official webpage, so do check them out! At Number 6 is the 2nd volume of Pachinko by Toshiya Wakabayashi which can also be found on pixiv, and interestingly, the Manga is also said to have hit 2 million worth of downloads as of its latest volume (according to its back cover). The final two new releases on the chart would be Gekikou Kamen Volume 1 in its first week at Number 6 while Mahou Shoujo ni Akogarete Volume 7 is 9th, also in its first week. As for Gekikou Kamen, it is currently being serialized in Shogakukan’s Big Comic Superior and its first chapter is available for reading in Japanese right here. This would be Mahou Shoujo ni Akogarete’s first appearance on the COMIC ZIN’s chart having failed to do so with its past volumes. The series is serialized in Manga Life STORIA with some of its chapters accessible for free in Japanese right here. Note that J-Novel Club is also publishing its volume digitally in English with its 1st volume already out, Volume 2 is set to release this coming August.
