Spy x Family volumes are still as heavily nested on COMIC ZIN’s chart with nearly all its volumes are present, including the official fanbook “Eyes Only” at Number 3 for the week between May 2 and May 8. The list also sees Dandadan Volume 5, which was already discussed in my TSUTAYA’s post for the same week leading the charge at Number 1.
Other new releases on the week include Number 2’s Shuumatsu no Harem Volume 15 at 7 days of sales. The series has been on a decline path since the entrance of its 11th volume which 5-day sales amounted to 61,033 copies sold in May 2020. Its subsequent volumes though, at longer days of sales could not produce similar, or better results. For instance, Volume 13 had 7 days of sales, but copies sold only hit 42,054 copies while Volume 14’s 6-day sales only netted 41,196 copies sold. Between October 2021 and March 2022, the series was adapted into a 11-episode TV Anime series by Studio Gokumi and AXsiZ. As such, we may see a boost to copies sold of its 15th volume, and if all goes well, I predict it will sell around 50,000 copies to 60,000 copies.

Then, another Shueisha title, Debby the Corsifa wa Makezugirai Volume 4 is placed 4th on the list. The series has so far made consistent debuts on COMIC ZIN’s lists since its 1st volume; however, it has never breached Oricon’s Top 30 charts. Serialized back in December 2020 through Shounen Jump+, some of its chapters can be read for free in Japanese right here, so do check them out!

Finally, Yankee JK Kuzuhana-chan Volume 10 settles in for the 10th spot at 3 days of sales. The Manga by Toshinori Sogabe, the author of Amaenaide yo!! began serialization in March 2020 through Shounen Champion Weekly magazine of which some of its chapters are accessible for free right here in Japanese. The title does frequent the COMIC ZIN charts but has never been able to place a spot on Oricon Top 30.
