COMIC ZIN chart for the week between March 14 and March 20 opens with great resilience shown by Takopii no Genzai as it heads into its third week, maintaining its Number 1 spot while Yuru Camp△ remains unchanged from its spot the week ago. A number of new releases that were discussed in the TSUTAYA chart for the same week can also be seen here with Sousou no Frieren Volume 7 claiming the 6th spot, at the same time, Kakkou no Iinazuke Volume 11 and Kaguya-sama wa Kokurasetai Volume 25 occupy the 7th and 8th places.
However, there are several new releases that were absent on TSUTAYA’s chart for the same week with the first one being Shadows House’s 10th volume at Number 3. Its performance on the Oricon Top 30 sales charts has remained elusive since July 2019, but it has made two appearances so far on the COMIC ZIN’s lists. As the slow down for titles such as Tokyo Revengers, Jujutsu Kaisen and Kimetsu no Yaiba is observable, we can expect the title to have a good chance of making a dent on the Top 30 Oricon sales chart this time around. Shadows House was also adapted into a 13-episode TV Anime series which ran between April and July 2021, and a sequel is planned for broadcast this coming July. You can check out its announcement video down below. The series is also expecting its maiden debut for its official English release as the 1st volume will hit shores June the 21st this year, published by Yen Press.

Maoujou de Oyasumi which comes in 4th on the list with its 21st volume is a title that you may be familiar with if you have watched its Anime adaptation by Doga Kobo back in 2020. The title was last seen with its 20th volume charting at 22nd place at 23,954 copies sold in its first 4 days back between November 15 and November 21. Since Volume 21 will have the same number of days of sales as Volume 20, you can expect it to sell around the same amount. Viz Books has also published its official English volumes with up to Volume 16 for grabs whereas Volumes 17 and 18 can be preordered, slated for releases this April the 12th and July the 19th this year.
The two other new releases on the chart would be Kuzushiro’s Egao no Taenai Shokuba desu. Volume 5 at Number 5, the author of Inugami-san to Nekoyama-san and Yuki Azuma, a veteran Mangaka with her latest work, Chotto Otona no Naisho Hanashi at Number 9. As for Egao no Taenai Shokuba desu., you can check out some of its chapters through Comic Days in Japanese right here.
