We have many unfamiliar faces making onto the COMIC ZIN’s chart for the week between June 27 and July 3 amid a lack of releases from major titles. Leading the pack is Mentsuyu Hitorimeshi Volume 5 in its first week, and this will be its second appearance after doing so for Volume 4 back between June 28 and July 4 the year before. The work by Mizuki Setoguchi is serialized in Takeshobo’s Manga Life magazine of which a sample of the 4-koma Manga can be accessed for free right here in Japanese. Then, at Number 2, is a fairly new title, Matazoro. Volume 2 makes its debut at 7 days of sales, and like Mentsuyu Hitorimeshi, it too has appeared before on COMIC ZIN before with its 1st volume placing 9th between April 26 and May 2 the year before. Serialization began for the work in October of 2019 where it is serialized in Houbunsha’s Manga Time Kirara Carat. Coming in at Number 3 is Sparrow’s Hotel Volume 12 by Yuka Santou, its third appearance on COMIC ZIN’s chart since the Blog started tracking. The work has been serialized in the Manga Life magazine since August of 2005 and a spin-off title was launched in March 2013 by the same author titled “Sparrow’s Hotel Annex”. You can check out the preview of Volume 1 right here for free in Japanese. In April of 2013, the series received a 12-episode Anime adaptation by studio Hotline. Next, at Number 4 is another 4-koma Manga, Nomi Joshi Volume 10 with 7 days of sales. Previously, its 9th volume was ranked on COMIC ZIN’s chart, taking the 3rd spot between October 25 and October 31 last year. The Manga is serialized in the Manga Club magazine and centres around three friends who go around trying different food and drinks. While doing so, they chat about their daily lives. At Number 6, you will find Ginshio Shoushou Volume 2 at 7 days of sales as well, its second appearance after its Volume 1 debut back between July 26 and August 1 last year. The Houbunsha title began its serialization journey in 2021 via Manga Time Kirara magazine with a preview of its Volume 1 available here for reading in Japanese. The story focuses on Kotaba, a photography enthusiast who wants to take pictures of her beautiful friend, Shiro. Right below is The iDOLM@STER Million Live!: Blooming Clover Volume 11 in its first week. A work by Kakuya Inayama, the Manga has been ongoing since March of 2017, serialized in the Dengeki Maoh magazine. The first few pages of The iDOLM@STER Million Live!: Blooming Clover’s 1st chapter
Tourin’ Girl! makes its 4th volume debut at 4 days of sales, its first appearance ever on the COMIC ZIN’s Top 10 chart. The Manga is serialized in Takeshobo’s Manga Life Storia magazine with more information about the work can be obtained here via its official page. Zubora Senpai to Majime-chan shares a spot with Tourin’ Girl! at Number 8, however this will be its final volume. The 4-koma Manga was initially serialized in Takeshobo’s Manga Life Original magazine with a preview of its 1st volume available right here for free in Japanese.
