COMIC ZIN Weekly Tankoubon Sales Ranking via Natalie: July 18, 2022 to July 24, 2022

COMIC ZIN chart features an all-new cast for the week between July 18 and July 24 with Medalist Volume 6 topping the chart in its first 3 days, not its first appearance on the list; however, it has so far not managed to break into Oricon’s Top 30 charts since the Blog started tracking. The work by Tsurumaikada is serialized in Kodansha’s Afternoon magazine with more information about the work can be obtained right here via its official webpage. You can also read some of its chapters that have been made freely available through Comic Days right here in Japanese. The title also won the 16th place at the Next Manga Awards 2021 edition and was placed 3rd at the 6th Tsutaya Comic Awards. Kodansha is also digitally publishing the series in English with a preview of its first chapter readable right here, so do check it out!

As for Golden Kamuy Volume 31 which is 2nd on the list, much of it has been discussed in the TSUTAYA post that covers the same period right here. So, do check the post out if you need more information about it. A spot below is Vivarium de Choushoku wo 1st volume debut in its first 5 days. Serialized in Akita Shoten’s Champion RED magazine, the work focuses on three sixth graders who seek to unravel their town’s “seven mysteries” as part of their free summer vacation project (Source: MAL). You can read its first chapter for free right here in Japanese. At Number 4, you will find Yagi to Hitsuji no Krone in its first 5 days, a seinen title by publisher Enterbrain. At Number 5 is Girls & Panzer: Momi no Ki to Tetsu no Hane no Majo’s final volume in its first 2 days, the title’s first ever appearance on the chart since the Blog started tracking. It began serialization in 2018 through Comic Walker with its first three chapters available for reading in Japanese right here (you can click here for direct access to Chapter 1). Watari-kun no xx ga Houkai Sunzen Volume 13 is 6th on the list in its first 5 days, not its first appearance on the chart, however it has not found any success in breaching Oricon’s Top 30. The title is serialized in the Weekly Young Magazine of which its first chapter can be read for free in Japanese right here. Number 7 places the 1st volume of Kuro Hakubutsukan Mikazuki yo, Kaibutsu to Odore in its first 3 days, a Kodansha title that takes place in 19th century Victorian London of which some of its chapters can be read for free right here in Japanese. More information about the title can also be accessed here through its official webpage, and this may be a title that you could be interested in reading if you are a fan of Ushio to Tora as it is being worked on by the same author. You can also check out a short promotional video released of the series down below. Destro 016 which comes next at Number 8 with its 2nd volume is a series that serves as a direct sequel to Destro 246 which was serialized in 2012. Worked on by the same author as its prequel, the new serialization can be found in Shogakukan’s Sunday GX with more information it can be found here while its first chapter can be read for free right here in Japanese.

Then, at Number 9 we have Himuro no Tenchi Fate/school Life Volume 15, its first ever appearance here in its first 3 days. The 4-koma title has been serialized since November 2006 with a preview of the 1st volume can be read here for free in Japanese. Finally, Batsu Hare makes its 1st volume debut in its first 6 days. The title is serialized in Shueisha’s Young Jump magazine with some of its chapters available here for reading in Japanese.
