The 2nd volume of SCRIBBLES, a collection of scribbles from author Kaoru Mori (Emma, and now Otoyomegatari) repeats the success of its 1st volume on COMIC ZIN’s chart to place first for the week between February 14 and February 20. This is followed by Syun Matsuena’s Kimi wa 008 Volume 18 at Number 2. Although the title has made its way quite a number of times on the list, it has thus far not breached any of Oricon’s Top 30 charts since July of 2019. The 3-day sales it has will prove to be a challenge too for it to see any placement on the upcoming Oricon Manga sales chart. If it does well, we may see it in the bottom 11 to 30. The one that is most likely to appear on Oricon sales chart for the same week has got to be Number 3’s Tonikaku Kawaii Volume 19. Its appearances on the charts are not as consistent as it is on COMIC ZIN’s list, however with the slowdown of several popular titles such as Jujutsu Kaisen, Tokyo Revengers and Kimetsu no Yaiba, we may see Volume 19 being placed on Oricon’s chart this coming Friday. It was last seen for Volume 18 at 31,624 copies sold in its first 4 days back between November 15 and November 21. The Manga began serialization in February 2018 via Shounen Monday, and in 2020, it received an Anime adaptation by studio Seven Arcs. A Season 2 is planned for release on an unannounced date. Star Eater: Mozou Crystal which comes in 6th is a Manga by Mozou Crystal that comprises four stories. It was initially released back in May 2012. Mabataki yori Hayaku!! Volume 5 is 8th on the list, a fighting Manga revolving around the character, Himari Kohanai. You may have heard of the author if you have read Monster Girl. If you plan on giving it a try, why not check out several of its chapters that are available for reading right here for free? Then, there is Haruka Reset placing 10th by Takeshi Nogami. The Manga is about Haruka, a writer who tends to get incredibly busy with work. As such to get a change of pace (or resetting her state of mind), she goes off doing small and simple things, for instance taking a walk, or grabbing a bite somewhere.
