COMIC ZIN Weekly Tankoubon Sales Ranking via Natalie: April 4, 2022 to April 10, 2022

The number of new releases is as heavily present here as it is in the TSUTAYA sales chart that I have discussed before. As such, for more information about Takopii no Genzai Volume 2, Spy x Family Volume 9 and Getsuyoubi no Tawawa Volume 4, be sure to check the post out.

For COMIC ZIN’s chart, let us take a look at the titles that were not placed on TSUTAYA’s chart, starting with Number 4’s Akuyaku Reijou Tensei Ojisan Volume 3 at 6 days of sales. The title has appeared for Volumes 1 and 2 on COMIC ZIN’s charts back in 2020 and 2021, however it has not made a dent on Oricon sales charts for any of the corresponding periods. The Manga was first serialized in March of 2020 via Young King OURs GH which tells a story of a 52-year-old civil servant who was reincarnated as a villainess. The preview of some of its volumes can be accessed right here in Japanese for those of you who are interested (for easy access to Volume 1, please click here), so do check them out!

Sono Shukujo wa Guuzou to Naru is next on the list at Number 6 with its 4th volume at 7 days of sales. The Shueisha title first began serialization in the year 2020 and is available through Shounen Jump+ of which some of its chapters are available for free in Japanese. This would be the first time it has appeared on COMIC ZIN’s Top 10 list. Ride-On King which comes in at the 7th spot for the week is a familiar title with its 8th volume at 4 days of sales. The title was last seen for its 7th volume which sold 28,610 copies between October 4 and October 10 last year in the first 4 days. If all goes well, it is expected to sell around the same in the coming Oricon Top 30 sales chart. But, do note that competition is stiff for the week as many formidable titles such as One Piece and Jujutsu Kaisen are making their official debuts, thus there is a possibility that it may see a lower turnout.

It is thanks to the amazing people over at Natalie.mu that we get to see these charts on a weekly basis, so be sure to head over to their site here and show them lots of love! Plus, all the data you find below is accessible via Natalie.mu right here.

The sequel title to Kageki Shoujo! is 7th with its 12th volume. Titled “Kageki Shoujo!!”, the Manga started its serialization in 2015, around four months after its prequel through the Melody magazine. More information about the Manga can be found on its official webpage right here. Seven Seas has also published the first five volumes in English, and the 6th volume can be pre-ordered, slated for a release this coming June. In July of 2021, it received an Anime adaptation by studio Pine Jam (please check out its website, it is really cool) spanning 13 episodes, ending its broadcast on September the 26 that year.

Sanami Suzuki’s Kajiki no Ryourinin places 9th with its 2nd volume in the first 7 days. Serialization began for the Manga in July last year, and its chapters can be read through Shounen Jump+ right here in Japanese. Fret not as the title is also available in English through Manga Plus, so do check them out right here. Finally, Yoku Wakaranai keredo Isekai ni Tensei shiteita you desu Volume 11 is 10th on the list. The title was last seen for its 10th volume placing 19th on the Top 30 Oricon sales chart between February 7 and February 13 in the first 5 days. The Manga is the Light Novel adaptation of the same name and will soon receive its official English releases in May and July for the first two volumes this year.
